"Yvonne &Frank are the perfect hosts& go to very thoughtful extremes to ensure your every need is provided for. Their house is beautifully positioned with access to the Georges River at the bottom of the Garden. Their swimming pool is crystal clear and sparkling --hard to resist even for someone like me who,'s not keen on getting in the water.There's also a beautiful patio area from which to watch the sunrise, activities on the River or the rich bird life. Yvonne's cooking is consistently excellent so Breakfast is always delicious and having homemade biscuits & chocolates in the room is a lovely finishing touch.One of the great joys of staying at Oyster Bay is its rural location--no traffic or other intrusions--and the bus stop , which links you to the railway is less than two minutes away,, so being without a car didn't pose any difficulties. On the odd occassion that I needed transport Frank & Yvonne were more than happy to run me about &Frank 's generosity even extended to taking me canoeing on the River!I've never stayed in any accommodation where I've been shown that kind of generosity before & it's a good example of how far this couple will go to ensure you have a marvellous stay. It is a real gem of a B & B--if you get a booking there consider yourself very lucky.
